What was it about Coverall that interested you?
For over 20 years, I worked in an advertising agency. When I saw the possibilities with Coverall, I decided to make a drastic change. I did not have commercial cleaning experience, but I knew I wanted something different. I wanted to be a business owner and have more control over my future. Once I met with the Coverall team, I knew this would be the right move for me and my family.
How does it feel to be a Franchise Business Owner?
There are so many feelings I have as a Business Owner. First, I am grateful that I have so much support from Coverall, especially the South Florida Support Center. When I walk into the center, I feel like I’m surrounded by old friends. They care about their Franchise Business Owners and will do anything to support me.
I feel proud. I am setting a great example for my children that anything is possible when you put in the hard work and take the time to learn something new. This whole experience has paid off for me and my family. Every day I wake up happy because I have my own business and can manage my schedule so that I can work and spend time with my family.
What advice would you give to anyone considering a Coverall Franchise?
It’s ok to be scared at the beginning. I was scared. I had no experience. I would tell anyone thinking about Coverall to go into your local center and meet with the team. I learned about so many training opportunities that have helped me grow my business.
I did all the training I could – I attended online and in-person sessions. I learned how to use different equipment, learned the processes for cleaning carpets, windows and floors. This education has helped me offer new On-Demand Cleaning and Preventative Maintenance services to my customers. These new skills have helped me grow. I would tell anyone who wants a commercial cleaning franchise to learn as much as they can.
